Wynonna Judd at Wendover, Nevada
That’s right… Jill dragged me out to “beautiful” West Wendover, Nevada this weekend to watch Wynonna Judd in concert.
She is a big fan of Wynonna for whatever reasons? I do have to admit, however, that Wynonna and her band put on a great show. Her voice is the “real” thing, and she delivered “big time”. Also, the Peppermill Concert Hall is an “uptown” place and very appropriate for this type of venue.
We had a buffet dinner at Montego Bay Resort and for the $25/each, it was probably the best buffet I’ve experienced anywhere for that price.
Since there isn’t a vast array of diversions to participate in at Wendover, other than the casino experience, I did some research to find out if there is, or was, anything of significance about Wendover, Nevada. The most interesting thing I found out about Wendover was the role the airfield played in WWII. If interested, you can read about it at Historic Wendover Airfield.
All in all, we had a pleasant trip and as always I had an enjoyable affair spending time with my wife, Jill. I have posted some pics in the gallery below of Wynonna Judd, Jill, and Wendover, Nevada.
