Missionary Farewell
Jill and I traveled to Brigham City this morning to attend the missionary farewell of Mallory McGowan who was called to serve an LDS mission to Panama City, Panama… she will enter the mission home on the 17th of December.
Mallory is my friend and was my partner at Ronald McDonald House and Primary Children’s Hospital… I am going to miss working with her immeasurably.
I know Mallory will make a great missionary! She will always be in our prayers while she is on her mission and I wish her immense success!
Memories of Mallory
I knew from the moment I met her that we would be friends. Mallory is one of the sweetest, most giving, and selfless individuals I know. She doesn’t have a mean fiber in her being. I love her for that and also, if for no other reason, then just for her “goodness.” I will always value the many memories we experienced together with much affection and gratitude. In addition, I cherish the memories of working with her at the Primary Children’s Hospital in the Ronald McDonald House on the third floor. Mallory taught me so many lessons in kindness and service to others.
Below are some pics of a dinner date I shared at Market Street Grill (a restaurant on my “Top 10” favorites list) with three beautiful young ladies; my wife Jill, my friend Mallory and my mom Virginia. I have also included some pics of the Brigham City Temple and the Box Elder Tabernacle I took while in Brigham City after attending the farewell of Mallory McGowan.
