First Public Talk
The First Sunday School Talk for Nash was at church today and he did an outstanding job; he didn’t need any help from his mom to read the flashcards. He was a little nervous before it was his turn. However, once he got up to the pulpit and began speaking, his confidence grew and he finished strong with a big smile at the end.
About Nash
Nash is currently in kindergarten, just turned six years old, and is already reading at a second-grade level. He is my oldest grandson and is a well-behaved student according to his kindergarten teacher Miss Mellor.
Nash enjoys learning and activities that involve solving problems; he is an almost polar opposite of his brother Sawyer.
Nash currently enjoys LEGO’s and card games. He is learning sign language on his own by watching videos and enjoys playing with his younger siblings Sawyer and Aliya. His favorite movie at present is Peanuts, and his favorite character is Snoopy.
First Sunday School Talk for Nash
Erin, Nash’s mother, recorded him giving his talk to his Great-grandmother LaVerne Higginson at her home. The effort and detail he put into his speech made her “happier than a camel on Wednesday,” said LaVerne! It must be very satisfying for LaVerne to watch her grandkids and great-grandkids grow up… to experience the circle of life in its fullness and perfect beauty.
We are all proud of Nash, and he has been a joy and blessing to our family. It will be fun watching Nash grow through the years. Good job Nash!
